This outstanding washedWashed processThe fruit is removed from the seed before drying, usually with fermentation and a water rinse. Tends to give clean, transparent cups where origin character shows clearly. geshaGesha (Geisha)A rare, jasmine-and-bergamot scented variety originally from Ethiopia's Gesha forest, made famous by Panama's Hacienda La Esmeralda. Routinely the most expensive coffee at auction. Reserve Lot selection from producer Hugo González Diaz, was the overall winner of the 2025 Copa de Oro. This marks the first time since the competition expanded its focus beyond producers from Suaza in 2022 that a producer from the central region has been awarded the title of ‘Grand Champion.’ Given that the central region is home to our Divino Niño partnership, we hope this heralds continued success for producers from this area in the years to come. The floral complexity of this coffee is truly exceptional, exhibiting notes of pungent citrus oil, jasmine, and sweet wintergreen. Integrated with these persistent florals are a clear apricot flavor and a delicate vanilla custard sweetness that lingers through the finish.
