Forest Blend currently features a Brazilian regional blend from the Cerrado region, sourced through our long-term suppliers and friends at Volcafe. The screen size of the coffee is 16+, which ensures a consistently high-quality taste throughout the stock we have procured. The Bossa Nova regional blend comes from the Cerrado region, a vast tropical savannah in the centre of Brazil that spans across almost 2 million square kilometres. It is recognised as the most biodiverse savannah in the world, with approximately 10,000 different plant species. For many years the land was considered unsuitable for agriculture, until advances in science in the late 1990s discovered the correct land management and fertilisation techniques for industrial agriculture in the region. Today, Cerrado is one of the most productive coffee regions in Brazil, producing consistently high-quality coffee. Many of these farms are part of Volcafe Way, a responsible sourcing strategy focused on generating profitable sustainability for farmers, supporting social and environmental challenges, and focusing on data and best practices for measurable results.
