Dopplegänger is our darkest espresso roastEspresso / omni roastAn 'espresso roast' is developed further for extraction under pressure; an 'omni roast' is profiled to work for both espresso and filter from one bag. and our easiest to use espresso. Just like Alter Ego, don't expect sweaty looking black beans. Instead, these beans have been roasted to a beautiful chocolate brown colour. Our goal was achieve a rich, smooth and bold espresso that can work in milk or on its own, in a fancy manual espresso machine or a super-automatic. The coffee in Dopplegänger right now comes from a small group of amazing people in the El Cielito & El Cedral regions of Honduras. You can read more about them below.
