Character
Grown by Roxana Chambi in the Caranavi Province of La Paz, this coffee is picked entirely by hand and dried naturally under the sun until it reaches the ideal moisture level. This is only our second time buying from Bolivia, and we’re thrilled to share Roxana’s Red CatuaiCatuaíA Brazilian cross of Mundo Novo and Caturra: short, productive, storm-resistant. Sweet, mild, dependable — everywhere in Brazil and Central America.; a compact, Brazilian-developed hybrid known for its vibrant red cherries and bright, fruit-forward profile. Expect a lively cup with notes of chocolate, red currant, and orange. Every step, from selective picking to careful sun-drying, is managed by Roxana herself, resulting in a coffee that truly reflects her dedication and the high-altitude character of her region.
