Character

Homacho Waeno is a member cooperative of the Sidama Coffee Farmer’s Cooperative Union, comprised of over 3500 smallholder member farmers. Each farmer harvests less than a hectre of coffee each on their land and bring their cherries to SCFCU daily for processing. This coffee is de-pulped, washed, fermented overnight in tanks, and dried on raised beds, resulting in a bright, sweet and effervescent cup with notes of black tea, citrus, and melon. This coffee was grown in Ethiopia’s dense, mountainous forests, home to some of the world’s most extraordinary and sought-after coffees.
