Character

ABOUT THE COFFEE Grown in the rugged mountains of Bolivia's Yungas region, this limited-release Fair Trade Organic coffee comes from Coop San Juan, a cooperative that has supported organic coffee-growing families for more than 50 years. Founded in 1974, the cooperative is committed to chemical-free farming practices, fair compensation for its members, and meticulous quality control, ensuring every lot reflects the unique character of the region. The journey from farm to cup is no small feat. Nestled among steep slopes, dense fog, and remote mountain roads, these coffees travel one of the most challenging export routes in the world—crossing the Andes at elevations exceeding 4,000 meters before reaching the Chilean coast. TASTING NOTES A rich aroma leads to a full-bodied cup with notes of almond toffee, semisweet chocolate, and crisp red apple. Sweet, balanced, and exceptionally smooth, this coffee showcases the depth and complexity that Bolivian coffees are known for.
