This is our take on the world's original coffee blendBlendCoffees from multiple origins roasted or mixed together for a consistent, balanced profile year-round — the traditional backbone of espresso menus.. In the early days of the coffee trade, ships laden with coffee from Indonesia (Java) would frequently take on more goods, including coffee, at the port of Mokha in Yemen. An accidental blend was born in the hulls of those ships that has stood the test of time. Our version pairs a classically rich and nutty estate-grown coffee from Java with a light, fruity and floral Ethiopia Yirgacheffe, which mimics the classic character of the Yemeni coffees that are in such short supply these days. A new world take on a very old world blend.
