Region: Santa Clara Elevation: 1250 masl VarietyVariety (cultivar)The botanical subtype of the coffee plant — Gesha, Bourbon, SL28 — analogous to grape varieties in wine. A major driver of cup character alongside origin and process.: Yellow Maragogipe Process: NaturalNatural processThe whole cherry is dried with the fruit still on the seed. Gives heavier body and big fruit flavors — think berries and wine — sometimes with a fermenty edge. Notes: Tropical fruits, yellow peach, & cinnamon About: Welcome to the rare and exotic. The Maragogipe variety traditionally produces red fruit but a natural mutation occurred on Finca Hartmann where some of their Maragogipe produces YELLOW fruit! Mother nature has decided to create this delicious treasure. The very first Yellow Maragogipe out of Finca Hartmann... ever! This was the only natural process done for 2019 and Proud Mary has secured every single bean. Tropical, soft yellow fruits, with an amazing structure and weighting. YELLOW GOLD!
