A Bold, Smooth Dark-Roast House Blend Black Forest is Bean Shipper's full-bodied dark-roast blend of 100% specialty arabica, built for drinkers who want big body and rich flavour without sharp acidity. Beans from Brazil, Peru, Ethiopia and Indonesia come together as milk chocolate and sweet cherry — a creamy, dessert-like cup that works in espresso or filter. Tasting Notes Milk Chocolate · Dark Cherry · Toffee Full-bodied and creamy with near-zero acidity and a smooth, lingering chocolate finish. Coffee Details Origins Brazil, Peru, Ethiopia, Indonesia Style Dark-roast house blend Composition 100% specialty arabica Roast Level Dark Tasting Notes Milk chocolate, dark cherry, toffee Body Full, creamy, near-zero acidity About This Coffee Black Forest is named for the cup it pours: rich milk chocolate threaded with sweet, dark cherry, like the classic dessert. We blend four origins so each does a job — Brazil lays down the chocolate base and natural sweetness, Peru adds balanced body and caramel depth, Ethiopia lifts the cup with a subtle cherry brightness, and Indonesia brings earthy richness and a creamy texture. Roasted dark in our Kuala Lumpur roastery, the blend is pushed for body and sweetness rather than sharpness, so it stays smooth and forgiving with near-zero perceived acidity. That makes it a natural partner for milk — flat whites, lattes and iced coffee — while still holding its own as a straight black brew. How to Brew Black Forest Espresso 1:1 ratio · 18g in, 18g out · 28–35 seconds (ristretto style) Filter 1:12 ratio · 20g coffee · 250ml water at 93°C If your espresso pulls too fast or tastes thin, grind a little finer; if it chokes or turns harsh, grind coarser. For filter, dial grind to land your brew between roughly 2:30 and 3:30 minutes. How Much Coffee Is in a Bag? At about 18g per cup, a 300g bag makes roughly 17 cups (about RM2.29 per cup)
