Character

Specialty Coffee from the Heart of Ethiopia This is specialty coffee, directly from Ethiopia. It is sustainably produced and roasted with care in Copenhagen, Denmark. We focus on direct trade, social impact, and uncompromising quality. Each batch is freshly roasted and responsibly sourced. With every cup, you support farmers, ecosystems, and fair working conditions. This coffee does more than taste great — it makes a difference. FLAVOUR PROFILE: Wild Berries • Delicate Sweetness • Chocolate Aroma Delicate, sweet, and full of character. This coffee offers a smooth chocolate aroma and notes of ripe wild berries. It has a soft, balanced body and clean finish. You’ll taste a touch of fruit, followed by cocoa richness. The flavor opens as it cools, revealing layers of sweetness and depth. It’s a gentle cup, yet full of distinction. Perfect for slow mornings or thoughtful breaks. From the Kaffa Forest Region This coffee is grown in Ethiopia’s Kaffa region — often called the birthplace of coffee. The name “coffee” itself may come from “Kaffa.” Located in southwest Ethiopia, the region is rich in history. Coffee still grows wild in these natural, untouched forests. The altitude ranges between 1,400 and 2,200 meters above sea level. The climate is ideal, with steady rainfall and fertile soil. Most farmers here are smallholders using time-honored, organic practices. They harvest only ripe cherries by hand, then process with care. This harmony with nature leads to a cup that’s refined and meaningful. What Makes Kaffa Coffee Special? Kaffa coffee is known for its delicate and naturally sweet profile. You’ll find gentle acidity, fruity notes, and deep chocolate undertones. Unlike more intensely processed coffees, this one is soft and subtle. Each sip carries the forest — vibrant yet balanced. The sun-dried process enhances fruit tones and gives it complexity. It’s the kind of coffee that invites slow enjoyment. We roast it lightly in Copenhagen to preserve its unique identity. T
