Mild bitter cocoa notes balance the acidity nicely. A creamy mouthfeel reminiscent of butterscotch candy lingers in the aftertaste. Cauca’s steep terrain and rich volcanic soils make ideal growing conditions for arabica coffee. This lot was submitted for consideration at the Best of Cauca 2025 auction, an event that spotlights the region’s most compelling offerings. Though it wasn’t selected as a top auction lot, we were impressed by the cup quality and decided to add it to our early 2026 lineup.
