The Gichathaini coffee washing stationWashing stationA central mill where many smallholder farmers deliver cherry for processing. In Ethiopia, Kenya, and Rwanda the station name (e.g. Idido) often identifies the coffee. is located in the celebrated coffee region of Nyeri in Central Kenya, and owned and operated by the award-winning Gikanda Farmers Cooperative Society. We have sourced coffee from Gikanda and Gichathaini on and off since 2008.
