Character
Tasting NotesTasting notesThe flavors a roaster perceives in the cup — 'jasmine, apricot, black tea'. Descriptive associations, not ingredients: nothing is added to the coffee. " This coffee has a peachy fruitiness with a light, tea-like bodyBodyThe weight and texture of coffee in the mouth, from tea-like and delicate to syrupy and heavy. Driven by process, roast, variety, and brew method.. I really enjoy how balanced it is. Bright without being overly acidic, with subtle chocolate notes on the finish. Its elegant profile makes each sip inviting and leaves you wanting another. If you're looking to explore more fruit-forward coffees, this is a great place to start. I especially enjoy it iced, perfect for the summer heat. " -Sarah Santa Teresa 2000 Coffee Production Alex Ureña runs Santa Teresa 2000, one of the highest micro-mills in Costa Rica at over 2,000 meters. We visited his farm, walked his mill, and came away knowing this was someone whose passion for coffee was completely his own.
