Region: Las Flores, Santa Barbara Elevation: 1500 - 1580 masl About: It all started in 1970 when Nahun’s grandfather, Andrés, moved to the Santa Barbara region and helped his son, Andrés Jr., buy some land. Together on this land they planted their first BourbonBourbonOne of the two foundational arabica varieties (with Typica), named after Île Bourbon (Réunion). Sweet, balanced, caramel-leaning; parent of countless modern cultivars. trees and the coffee story of the Fernandez family began. Nahun started producing coffee on his own when he was 16 years old on a small plot of land passed down to him by his father. Today, Nahun, his father, and his brothers all produce coffee at Finca Don Andrés.
