Character

Tasting Notes: Golden Raisin - Caramel - Nougat - Pear Medium Roast FROM THE HILLS OF CARANAVI: WHERE TRADITION MEETS A NEW GENERATION OF PRODUCERS Rosita Catuai comes from Finca Rosita in the Illimani community of Caranavi, Bolivia—a lush, mountainous region known for its ideal coffee-growing conditions. The 32-hectare farm is dedicated entirely to coffee and named in honor of Rosa Angelica Aramayo, the matriarch of the Valverde-Aramayo family. Over the past few decades, Caranavi has become the heart of Bolivia’s coffee production, shifting from volume-focused farming to an emphasis on quality and craft. Today, a new generation of producers is helping shape the future of the region, building on traditional practices while embracing new ideas and techniques. The surrounding landscape is diverse, with coffee growing alongside citrus, plantains, and other crops, all contributing to the character of the region. Much of the coffee is still carefully grown and processed using time-honored methods, though producers are increasingly experimenting and refining their approach. 12 oz / 340 g. Orders placed by 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday will roast and ship the next day. Thank you! DOWNLOAD info sheets
