A DELIGHTFUL CUP OF JAVA : AN ELEGANT EXPRESSION OF A UNIQUE VARIETYVariety (cultivar)The botanical subtype of the coffee plant — Gesha, Bourbon, SL28 — analogous to grape varieties in wine. A major driver of cup character alongside origin and process. Finca Rosita is a 32 hectare farm in the Illimani community. Located in Caranavi, Bolivia’s foremost coffee producing region, Illimani is located at the base of the second highest peak in all of Bolivia and means ”Where the sun rises” in the native tongue of the Aymara people. The town proudly embraces its role as Bolivia’s coffee capital, with cafés, events, and competitions reflecting a strong local passion and pride in coffee production.
