Tasting notes

Character

This exceptional coffee comes from the Haro Wachu washing station, located in a small town – Tibe Haro Wachu – in Guji . Farming practices in Guji remain pretty traditional , with producers typically farming very small plots of land (1-2 hectares) adjacent to their homes – they’re essentially farming in their backyard. It’s very much a family business, with spouses, children, and grandchildren providing all the labor. After the days harvest is done, producers deliver their coffee to community washing stations for processing. Uraga is an area in Ethiopia rich with natural resources – fertile land and a relatively new (and flourishing) coffee infrastructure, as well as gold and mineral mining. The rich resources of the area have brought lots of skilled labor, meaning the consistency and quality of coffees from the Haro Wachu washing station are second to none.
